    Mark R. Matney    

 

 

 Mark Matney has been protecting his clients’ interests for 18 years since his graduation from the Marshall-Wythe School of Law at the College of William and Mary.  He continues to train through personal study and continuing education courses focused on personal injury issues.

 

Personal injury attorney Mr. Mark Matney is inspired by his personal experience as an accident victim, to help others who have been injured by the carelessness of others.  As a grade school student, Mark was injured in a rear end collision.  Years after a settlement was reached, Mark experienced complications that were not apparent earlier.   He is therefore committed to maximizing his clients’ compensation.

Mark is qualified to practice in the Virginia Courts, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.  He is a member of the Virginia State Bar and the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association.

 

Mark’s desire to serve is also demonstrated in his volunteer work as an allied attorney of the Alliance Defense Fund.  Through this alliance of Christian lawyers, he has donated time to representing indigent persons, churches, ministries, and pastors.    

 


 


 

Jeffrey C. Martin

 

 

Attorneys for personal injury Mr. Jeff Martin graduated with honors from William & Mary School of Law in the top 14% of his class.  During his time at William & Mary, Jeff received the Gambrell Professional Award for written and oral advocacy and was one of only eleven students recognized for all four semesters for excellence in research, writing, analysis, and trial practice.

 

Jeff is licensed to practice in Virginia Courts and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia as personal injury attorney.  He is a member of the Virginia State Bar and the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association.  Jeff is also certified by the Supreme Court of Virginia as a Mediator.  This valuable experience helps in negotiation.

 

Jeff’s undergraduate degree in Biology aids in his work with the scientific and medical aspects of personal injury law.  Jeff graduated Summa Cum Laude with advance course work in physiology and chemistry, with a host of awards and scholarships.  He participated in original research and worked at the University’s physiology lab.  Attorneys for personal injury Mr. Jeff was also a trauma tech at the University of Maryland Shock Trauma in the Critical Care and Intensive Care Units.

 

Jeff’s other life work has been caring for people as a pastor and being a fierce advocate for justice.  After college, he spent 5 years in Appalachia introducing reading programs to prisons and fighting to move people from welfare to work.
